Located near the adventurous town of Gopeng, CofyHill Retreat is an up and coming eco-resort set in a 20-acre booming durian plantation.
Set only 20km south of Ipoh and about 2 hours north of Kuala Lumpur, Gopeng was one of Malaya’s prominent tin-mining centers. It is set next to some of Peninsular Malaysia’s most stunning limestone cave systems and the Kampar River, today one of the best white water rafting spots in Malaysia.

Our Origin Story
How We Started
In 2000, over 1000 acres in the district was allocated for oil palm production. As the trees aged, replanting in some lots shifted towards the cultivation of durians and other produce. CofyHill was among the first pioneers in the shift, and have perfected our process in tree propagation and care over the years.
Today our planting programs are spread across several lots in the area, and we have started CofyHill Retreat near our most accessible plantation so you can enjoy the durians once the season arrives.
Relax and Explore
Situated beside a clean and verdant garden with lots of open space, the world is yours to explore.
There are nooks and crannies to hang out in, small playgrounds for the little ones, natural paths for trekking and jogging, a pool to relax in, and good vantage points for shutter bugs and people who enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Beyond our gates, there are other attractions nearby. Gopeng town also had a strong Chinese community whose immigration history reflected in the town’s architecture, heritage, and, of course, Gopeng food — anyone up for some lai fun noodles?

Our spacious event hall is a comfortable colonial-design building that can seat up to 100 guests, with a connected space that can accommodate another 50.
The hall is fully air-conditioned, but the tall windows and high ceiling provide ample lighting on it’s own, and provides a relaxing environment for corporate events, wedding receptions, banquets, or any event.
